British Sugar is the leading UK sugar producer, which in 4 factories, manufactures approx. 1.3 million tones of sugar for both industrial and retail customers. Under the Silver Spoon retail brand it sells around 4 million packs of sugar every week.

British Sugar is the sole owner of BSO Polska and is also active in other regions across the world. It operates 4 cane factories in China (producing 500 thousand tones of sugar per year) and is the majority shareholder in Illovo, the South-African sugar company with an annual production capacity of 2 million.
